Join us for a practical workshop, Getting Started with DNA for Genealogy, where we’ll take the mystery out of using DNA as a genealogical research tool.
We’ll begin with the basics: what your DNA results are telling you, what a DNA match actually means, and how to start making sense of the people who appear on your match list.
We’ll then look at some of the useful tools available on the major DNA testing platforms, including AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA, GEDMatch and possibly 23andMe
